This issue has really started frustrating the players as the event is live for a limited time. Many suspect that the mission is hidden to make the event more interesting. How to Unlock IS-9 Mission in Arknights

According to a YouTuber named KyoStinV, to unlock the IS-9 mission in Arknights you’ll first have to read the IS-ST-3 story. Once done, the event mission will be available for you to play. For a better understanding, below we have mentioned the same process in steps.

1. First, launch Arknights on your device.
2. Next, open the Il Siracusano Event banner.
3. Then, click on the arrow button located in the bottom right corner of your screen.

4. After that, select the very first, Story button or click on the Broadcast Tower icon on the map.

5. Then, select the IS-ST-3 story and read or skip it to get the reward. Reading it will get you 1x Originite Prime.
6. Once done, click on the Missions button (Two Swords icon), and there you’ll find the IS-9 mission unlocked.

This mission is relatively easier than the IS-8 mission and can be done without any hassle. Completing it successfully for the first time will get you Originite Prime and Import Permits.
