There are four types of throws in Pokemon GO. Curveball, Nice, Great and Excellent. The size of the Target circle gets smaller with the difficulty of the throw. Where Curveball and Nice are easy ones, and Great and Excellent are harder ones. The smaller the circle, the greater the chance of catching. But even Easy throws are not as easy as they sound. So it becomes crucial to master the easy ones before jumping to the hard ones. And here is how you can make Nice throws in Pokemon GO.
Pokemon GO: How to Make Nice Throws
Nice throws have a 1 to 1.3 times chance of catching and give a 20 XP bonus. You can use them on any size of Pokemon. But it is still better to go for bigger Pokemons if you are a beginner. Choose a smaller target as you master it. Since once you get the hang of it, you will learn Great and Excellent throws in no time. Let us now jump to the steps of the throw.
- Open your Pokemon GO app and go to the Map view.
- Search for the Pokemon you want to capture. Tap on it to open the catch window.
- It would be better if you turned the AR mode off from the upper right corner. As it comes as a hindrance in crowded places.
- Now tap on the PokeBall symbol in the bottom right corner of your screen. And choose the PokeBall depending on your opponent.
- Hold the selected PokeBall to set the Target circle. Leave it once your Target circle becomes big. It will set your target.
- While setting the target you might have noticed that your Target circle was one of these colors; green, yellow, or red. If it was red, then select a different ball and set your Target again or feed that Pokemon some berries to turn the circle yellow or green.
- Once everything is set, throw the PokeBall and wait for the shake to complete.
