The way is to transfer your extra Pokemon to Professor Willow. When you transfer a Pokemon to Professor Willow, you receive candy in exchange for it. And those candies can be used for power-ups and the evolution of your Pokemon. Now how to transfer them; first go to your Main Menu button, which looks like a Pokeball. You’ll see a Pokémon button, tap on it. Now skim through the list and search for the one you want to get rid of. Tap on the Menu button, then you will see the Transfer option, click it and confirm the transfer.
