Ghost Pokemon can be intimidating opponents in battles. Also, their movesets are dangerous if you don’t select the right Pokemon. The Ghost type Pokemon are most vulnerable against their own types and Dark types. These types are the best choices to exploit Ghost Pokemon weaknesses. Their moves are super-effective against Ghosts. On the contrary, Ghost moves are not effective against Dark types. So, the next time you face the Ghost type, you know which ones to add to your party.

Ghost Pokemon Resistances

The Ghost type can resist the attacks from Poison and Bug types. Their moves are not effective and won’t do much harm. However, it is worth noting that, Ghost types’ moves are super-effective against both the types.

Normal type Pokemon are completely immune to Ghost types’ moves. On the other hand, Ghost types are immune to Normal and Fighting type moves.

Notable Ghost Pokemon trainers

Some of the best Ghost Pokemon trainers were the members of the Elite Four. Such as Agatha was a member in Gen 1, 3, and 7. Morty was in Gen 2 and 4. Fantina shared the Elite Four membership with Morty in Gen 4. Apart from that, she was also a member in Gen 8.

Phoebe appeared as an Elite Four member in Gen 3 and 6, whereas Shauntal appeared in Gen 5 and Acerola in Gen 7. Along with that, Acerola was also the Trial Captain in the same generation.

Except these notable trainers, Allister and Ryme also make it on the list. Allister was the Stow on Side Gym Leader in Gen 8. Whereas Ryme was Montenevera Gym Leader in Gen 9.
