Jolteon can be acquired using a few methods, two of which are an evolving process, and the remaining is an alternative trading method. Unlike other versions of the Pokemon game, here we use a one-time easy trick and random acquiring method. Let’s learn how you can use these methods and what their requirements are.
Method 1: Nickname Trick
This method works only once for every generation, so it is better to choose the best one for eevee-lution. For this, you are going to need 25 Eevee candies. Eevees are easy-to-catch Pokemon that are easier to find, so you can catch them and transfer them to Professor Willow to acquire candy. You can also set them as your buddy and walk with them to earn candies. Once you have collected the required amount of candies go to the Eevee you want to evolve and change its nickname to “Sparky“, then use the “Evolve” button. You will get your Jolteon.
Method 2: Random Generation
It is similar to the first method, but here you do not get to choose the Jolteon eeveelution. Here you collect 25 candies using transfer, buddy walks, or other methods and then use the Evolve button to get random Eevee generation from Vaporeon, Flareon, and Jolteon. So there is a 1/3 chance of you getting a Jolteon using this method.
Alternative Method
Since RNG is not always reliable, you can ask other players to exchange their Jolteon with some other Pokemon of yours.
