Cheat codes in GTA 5 can be used in two ways. The first is numerical and the second is alphabetical.
Numerical Use Of Cheat Codes
- Start your game and press the upper arrow key of your keyboard.
- A cellphone will pop out from the bottom of the right side screen.
- Select Contacts and press enter, go to any contact on your phone and press the “Space” button on your keyboard.
- You’ll see a number pad panel, Use directional arrows of your keyboard to move up, down, left and right on numbers.
- Type your cheat code that is in a numerical format but hit enter at those numbers.
- For example enter 19997274348 and hit the space button, and a car will appear in front of you.
- On the bottom left side of your screen you’ll see that cheat code’s name.
- You have to be careful while typing numbers since backspace take you out of that screen later than clearing one number.
Alphabetical Method of Using Cheat Codes
- You have to press the “Tilt” button, tilt button has this “~” sign on it.
- It would open up a typing box, here you can just type your alphabetical cheat code using our keyboard.
- After filling that box with cheat codes for example MAKEITRAIN, press on the Enter key.
- Weather would change and rain will start.
Things to Remember
- If you use Cheat Code before starting a mission or in the middle of a mission you’ll not any reward for that mission.
- Unlike PC, Xbox and PlayStation require you to press buttons in different sequences for every Cheat. Like if you want to activate God Mode using PlayStation then press Right, X, Right, Left, Right, R1, Right, Left, X, and Triangle in a sequence.
