It’s the year of the OX and Blizzard Entertainment’s annual Lunar New Year event for Overwatch is now live. Overwatch is a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment.
If you have played the game before you will know that events are very common in the game and something that all players usually look forward to. Overwatch has accounted for the event of February 1 to which many gamers have been looking forward to.

Overwatch Lunar New Year Event Overview
This year’s limited-time event started on 4th Feb and will run till 25th February. The game will include a new game mode Bounty Hunter, and a fresh batch of Lunar New Year-themed skins for Ashe, Bastion, Echo, Orisa, Widowmaker, and more.
Lunar New Year Overwatch Skins
This year’s Lunar Event will be all about skins. In the previous event, the game had added four legendary skins and three epic skins, making it seven in total. Moira, Sombra, Brigitte, Lucio, Winston, Doomfist, and Wrecking ball were the lucky heroes. You will eve be seeing five new Legendary skins — Bull Demon Orisa, Tiger Huntress Ashe, Dragonfire Bastion, Kkachi Echo, and Pale Serpent Widowmaker in the event this time.
Overwatch New Arcade mode (Bounty Hunter)
The games arcade mode is a deathmatch-style game type. In Bounty Hunter, the player who scores the first kill of the match becomes the target, while everyone else becomes a bounty hunter. Players will have to kill the target and then will have to again make themselves into a target and so on. According to Blizzard Bounty Hunter will be included as part of the Arcade game type rotation after the Lunar New Year 2022 event concludes.
Overwatch Lunar Event Challenges
There will be three weekly challenges. By winning nine games each week, players can unlock a variety of cosmetics: player icons, sprays, and Epic skins, including Terracotta Medic Baptiste, Xiake McCree, and Imperial Guard Reaper.
