No Man’s Sky lets you roam around the vast cosmos, scouring various galaxies to sustain and thrive in space. on the quest to survive, you have to locate planets and also terraform the base to make the planet habitable. While doing so, you have to travel through the said planet to carry out other functions and activities. In order to do so, you will have to get Exocraft in No Man’s Sky.
Exocrafts are basically vehicles that you can use to travel through the planet. Although you can roam the planet on foot but why walk when you can ride? In this guide, you will learn all about the resources and materials you need to build an Exocraft.
How to Build Exocraft in No Man’s Sky?
There are 6 different types of Exocrafts in No Man’s Sky. Below are given the names and materials you would require to make the outer space exoskeleton. They are as follows,
- Roamer – Ion Batteries (x2), Metal Plating (x5), Paraffinium (x50)
- Colossus – Ion Batteries (x4), Metal Plating (x5), Paraffininum (x100)
- Nomad – Ion Batteries (x2), Metal Plating (x5), Paraffinium (x50)
- Pilgrim – Ion Batteries (x4), Metal Plating (x5), Paraffininum (x100)
- Minotaur – Ion Batteries (x4), Metal Plating (x5), Paraffininum (x100)
- Nautilon – Crystal Sulphide (x4), Metal Plating (x5), Salt (x100)
Now, each Exocraft needs a separate Geobay to operate in the game. And each Geobay needs different materials to be built. The materials given above next to each Exocraft are those that you’ll need to craft the Geobay of the respective machines. You can extract these above resources from the Salvage Data derived from the remains of the technologies on other planets.
In order to unlock the Geobays in NMS, you have to go to the Transport Module tab which you will find in Space Anomaly’s Construction Resource Terminal. Over there you can select the Geobays you want to build according to the availability of the resources required.
The list of the Exocrafts is mentioned in the order of availability. Once you have unlocked Roamer Exocraft, you can purchase the Geobays of other crafts too.
