Wild Rift is the mobile counterpart of the LoL PC game. Play in the 5v5 MOBA game on your phone as you fight to win, lose and sometimes even surrender. There’s no point fighting an unwinnable fight and surrendering allows you to reduce the damage. You can then move on to a better challenge where you and your teammates can actually play better. However, surrendering can be a bit of a challenge for those of you who aren’t used to the game. No worries, here is your guide on how to surrender in Wild Rift.
How To Surrender in League of Legends Wild Rift?
There is nothing wrong with surrendering during an undefeatable match. If you know that you’re going to lose then why not leave before and go to a better match? Follow these steps to surrender during a match in LoL, Wild Rift.
- Next to the map in your game, you will find a gear icon
- Click on the gear to go to your Settings
- Look to the bottom-left of your screen
- There should be a button that says ‘Surrender‘
- Now get your teammates to do the same
Only when at least 4/5 of you surrender will it be enforced. Therefore, only after there is a clear majority in the Wild Rift game that want to surrender will it actually happen. So don’t worry about accidentally pressing it in-game.
You can only surrender after 5 minutes of gameplay which is equivalent to around 300 seconds. If two or more of your teammates refuse to surrender then you will have to play through the game even though you may not like it. As there is an AFK fine if you leave. For those that are AFK between 3-6 minutes of the game then your AFK penalty is of 10 minutes. And if you’ve been AFK for longer than 6 minutes then your penalty is 20 minutes. From there, it goes 6 hours long.
