The Boss, Sett is definitely one of the most picked characters and most loved too. He’s not very difficult to play with his difficulty level being at 1. Matthew Knipfer, creator of the Mathematically Correct Pantheon Build has created a new build which is the Mathematically Correct Sett Build.
He emailed RossBoomsocks, with a spreadsheet, the apparent Mathematically Correct Sett Build, and why the build is OP. RossBoomsocks has since, created a YouTube video about the build and had calculated the numbers, and also tested out the build. It seems that the build is actually great and very tanky. The build has become so popular that even Riot’s Champ Designer, Riot August tweeted a meme on Twitter about it.

Know more about the Mathematically Correct Sett Build
Mathematically Correct Builds are generally LoL builds that are created after a lot of calculations with various items and stats.
The Mathematically Correct Sett Build seems to build only HP and AD. You do not purchase any other stat items and solely focus on HP mostly and Attack Damage.
If all the other stat items are removed, you will have very limited AD and HP items to build with.
Mathematically Correct Sett Build Order
- Dorans Blade
- Goredrinker
- Steraks Gage
- Black Cleaver
- Titanic Hydra
- Warmogs
When you start the game, go with a Doran’s blade and Health Potion. Aim to get the Goredrinker first along with the Ionian Boots of Lucidity. This will enhance your attacks.
Your core build should be Steraks Gage, Black Cleaver, Titanic Hydra, and the Warmog’s Armor – in that order. Don’t worry if you can’t do the whole build because your Sett should become tankier by the time you buy the Black Cleaver.
The main thing to keep in mind is that in a Mathematically Correct Build, you need to MAX your W to increase damage. Here is a guide to level up your ability in the correct order. Refer to the image below.
Why is the Mathematically Correct Sett Build So Over Powered?
The reason this build works so well and tanks Sett is due to his Haymaker’s passive. Whenever Sett takes damage, his passive allows him to regen health by 50%. Since his passive works by taking damage, not building defensive items helps his tank. To know more mathematical details about the reasoning behind this build, you can check out this spreadsheet created by Matthew Knipfer.
Therefore buying only HP items and Attack items are great for this build. Here is a League of Legends Tier List for September.
