Evony sends a mail 10 days prior to its players when there is any server merge about to happen. This is done to prepare them in advance. However, there are certain requirements and things to keep in mind before trying to merge servers. Evony has started sending merger mails differently than before, which has left players confused. What is Evony Server Merge?
- Evony chooses any two servers to merge, based on their SvS ranking.
- When you enter your game, you are connected to your original server but there will also be an option to access and share the other server.
Looking at the server merges from the past couple of years, Evony has merged servers only up to once or twice a year. The servers are merged based on the SvS ranking. So it is not really in the player’s hands to choose a server. The servers are decided by Evony’s team to be merged. All your data remains the same, along with your Alliances.
The difference now between the server merge system is that Evony recently started sending a mail about sever merge in less than 10 days. They have also started merging random unexpected servers. This has got players on their feet to get subs in very less time. As this will end up affecting their rank after the merge is over. This merge won’t last forever, so if you are not satisfied with the other server players, you just have to keep up with it for some time.
