What is Trust Factor in CSGO?

Trust Factor is a matchmaking system launched way back in 2017. It allows a value to every CSGO player and finds other players who have the same trust factor for the perfect matchmaking games. For the unversed, Trust Factor in CSGO is measured on the basis of the number of hours played, matchmaking games played, commendations, and stats from other Steam games.

Initially, the devs had mentioned that there are no ways to check Trust Factor in CSGO but later community members discovered a way that could give you a rough estimate of your Trust Factor. Before I explain the procedure of checking and improving the Trust Factor in CSGO, let me tell you that there are a total of three kinds of Trust Factor available in the game — Green, Yellow and Red.

Having Green, Yellow and Red Trust Factor indicates that you are in the safe zone, moderate zone or danger zone, respectively. The reason why everyone wants to improve their Trust Factor is they have to encounter a lot of hackers and cheaters in the Yellow and Red zones.
