Tarantulas (spiders) are a rare bug found in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. You will be able to spot them in the evening hours, between 7 pm and 4 am. To catch them you will require to have a Bug net with you. These spiders are available for specific months only, we have given the list of months that the spiders can be caught.

- Firstly you will need to roam around at night to catch these creepy bugs.
- Make sure you have your Bug Net with you.
- When you spot a Tarantula slowly walk towards it. If the spider turns around in your direction and raises the frontal leg do not make any move.
- During this time Press the A button which will make the Bug Net ready to use and will also slow down your movements.
- Once the tarantula lowers its legs (Meaning it’s no more on alert) then you are ready to go.
- Approach the spider slowly and once it is in the range of your net Release the A button to catch in your net.
