Valorant is a free-to-play first-person hero shooter game that isn’t very demanding in its requirements. However, low-end PCs can still end up experiencing a lag when playing this game. Players can implement various methods to improve the Valorant FPS if they are playing on a low-end PC. We have listed all these tricks below in detail.

Turn Off Background And Startup Apps

This is one of the easiest ways to minimize lags and provide players with a consistent FPS during their gameplay. To turn off background apps, players can search for Background Apps from the startup menu. They can now open the Background apps and choose to turn off the let apps run in the background option. This will stop all apps from running in the background. Players can also choose to turn off specific apps by toggling the option in front of them.

In addition, players should also check the apps that are running when the PC powers up. If players see any apps that they do not require, they should turn them off. This can be done by going to the Startup Apps option in windows settings.

    Enable Gaming Mode in Windows

Players can also enable gaming mode on their low-end PCs to improve Valorant FPS. To do this, players can follow the instructions given below.

    • Type Game Mode in the search bar.
    • Open Game Mode settings.
    • Turn on Game mode.

    Performance

Players can also change their power options. To do this, players can follow the steps below.

    • Go to Control Panel.
    • Select the Hardware and Sound option.
    • Click on the Power Options and tap the Edit Power Options.
    • Now, change the advance power settings from Balanced to Ultimate performance.

    In-Game Settings

Lastly, players can set their graphics settings on low to get the most out of their low-end PCs while playing Valorant. For example, players can go to the General settings in Valorant and select Other. This will show multiple options like Show Mature Content, Show Blood, etc. Players can turn them all off to boost their performance.
