Pokemon GO: How to Join Egg Raid
Raid difficulty is classified into 4 Tiers: 1, 3, 5, and Mega. And currently, there are four types of passes that you can obtain through purchasing or as a daily reward; Raid Pass, Premium Battle Pass, Remote Raid Pass, and EX Raid Pass. Raid, Premium, and Remote pass let you join Egg Raids. And EX Raid can be used after you have completed the boss battle. Follow these steps to join the Egg Raid battles.
- Open your game and go to Map view. Tap on the Nearby button.
- Go to the Raid tab. You will see a Raid invite if any, tap the invite to join the lobby.
- If you don’t see the invite. Then scroll and check all nearby Raids, and tap on the Raid to join the lobby.
- Once you are at the lobby, you will have two battle options.
- The first option is for public battles. You can join by hitting the “Battle” button.
- The second option is for Private Group battles. Which requires a passcode to join. The password will be something like “Pikachu, Pikachu, Squirtle”, “Caterpie, Metapod, Weedle” or anything else.
- To join a Private battle, tap on the “Private Group” option from the lobby.
- Now enter the passcode and hit GO to enter the group.
- Select your Pokemons and wait for the match to start.
