When you start playing Pokemon Go, you are asked to join a team a little into the game. There are three teams in total that you can choose from. Those teams are Team Instinct, Team Mystic and Team Valor. Now, each team has a leader and you can battle team leaders in Pokemon go.

How to Battle a Team Leader in Pokemon Go?
As mentioned earlier, you get a choice before you are assigned to one of the three teams. Blanche is the leader of Team Mystic, Candela is of Team Valor and Spark is the leader of Team Instinct.
Now, there are two different options that you can opt to fight the leader. One is for the players who are below level 10 and the other is for the players who are above level 10. The steps given below are for the players below level 10.
Steps to Battle Team Leader
- Open Pokemon Go on your phone
- On the main screen, click on the horizontal tab in the bottom-right corner
- Swipe right to go to the Battle tab
- Click on one of the Team Leaders to battle
The steps given below are for the players above Level 10.
Steps to Fight Team Leader
- Launch Pokemon Go on your phone
- On the main screen, click on the Pokeball icon
- Click on the Battle icon
- Tap on the Training tab
- Select a Team Leader to start the battle
