As you defeat the enemies, you will see they drop green gem-like particles upon dying. You have to collect those particles until the meter is filled. The moment it is filled to the brim, you’ll get a chance to choose a weapon.
If you have the liberty, make sure to choose powerful weapons such as Type A & B Drones, Guardian, Forcefield, Sports Shoes, etc. You’ll be able to last longer and defeat more enemies. Apart from that, you can also upgrade these weapons by re-selecting them. Every time you re-select a weapon, it will gain a star. The maximum a weapon can be upgraded is 5 stars.
