Where do foxes spawn in Minecraft?
Finding Foxes in Minecraft is not quite easy. In order to locate them, you first need to look for Taigma biomes. These are the colder forests that can be spotted on the surface and they are available in three varieties – normal, snowy and giant tree Taigas.
Notably, Foxes do not spawn individually. It spawns in a group of two to four and they merely have a 5 per cent chance of spawning as baby foxes. If you are looking for a specific fox, you should know that Red foxes and white foxes are found in the normal Taigas and within the snowy ones respectively.
How to tame a fox in Minecraft?
To tame a fox in Minecraft, you need to create a brand-new fox; you need great convincing skills for foxes to breed. All you need to do this is to attract them by giving one sweet berry to one fox, then give another sweet berry to the fox with whom you want it to mate. Then wait for them to breed: the freshly-hatched fox will be loyal to you.
The problem is it will also want to follow the other foxes. If you want it to follow you, take it away from the other foxes. The best way to do this is to attach a lead to it and walk away from other groups of the furry fauna, then it’ll only have eyes for you.
If you choose to breed a white and a red fox, then their baby has a 50 per cent chance of being either white or red, for example.
