Easiest Way to Plant a Data Scraper on an IO Airship in Fortnite
Before you head on to the Airship, it is important to note that the data scraper will be given to you beforehand. And so, there is no need to go looking for one.
How to Plant a Data Scraper on an IO Airship at the Start of the Game?
If you are completing this quest at the beginning of the game, you should follow these steps:
- Go to Map
- Mark an Airship on it’s tail
- Now jump off and move as close to the blimp as possible
- Deploy your parachute as you move close
- Mantle on the top right end of the blimp
- Approach the Digital panel
- Plant the data scraper
And done! You have successfully completed your mission, good job!
How to Plant a Data Scraper on an IO Airship in Fortnite while on the Ground?
If you have already landed in either one of these regions- the Daily Bugle, Rocky Reels, Condo Canyon or Command Cavern, you can move toward the tail end of the airship in these regions and follow these steps:
- Find a zipline that attaches to the ship
- Use it to climb aboard
- Go through the inside of the blimp
- Collect weapons as you go
- Work your way to the tail end of the ship
- Check your map to see where you are
- Approach the digital panel
- Plant the data scraper
If there is no zipline connecting you to the ship then you can always launch yourself to the top of the blimp with a siege cannon. Make sure to aim your cannon towards the tail end of the blimp as you do this.
