Brawlhalla Ranking System, Tiers and Ranks Explained

Confused about so many tiers and ranks in Brawlhalla? Let us explain to you what these mean!

Brawlhalla is one the most known and fun free platform fighting games. The Brawlhalla Rankings system can be a little confusing due to it having so many ranks and then tiers inside ranks. However, don’t worry, we’ll explain it all to you.

Brawlhalla has crossplay, ranked matches and you can even make custom matches to play with your friends. It also has about 50 characters who all come to play in Valhalla. There are more than 10 maps to choose from.

What is Ranked in Brawlhalla?

Ranked is a game mode in Brawlhalla that is competitive. In this mode, a map is randomly selected and a 1v1 or 2v2 match is played. There is also a Seasonal Ranked mode. Seasons last 13 weeks in which you can rank up in levels and in the end, everyone who participated gets Glory – the currency in Brawlhalla. By playing in Ranked you also get Elo for the Legend you’re using and you. However, if you lose in a Ranked game, you lose out on Elo.

The more Elo you earn in Ranked games, the higher your rank will be. We’ll be giving you an overview on how much Elo you need to be what rank.

The ranks start from Tin which is the lowest and go up to Diamond. Tin, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond are ranks. The numbers 0-5 next to them are the Tiers inside the ranks. Each rank has 5 tiers except for diamond.  If you notice the Elo needed for Tier 5 in each rank is similar to the Tier 0 in the rank above them. This is because if you ever lose a match on Tier 1 of any Rank, you won’t drop down to the lower Rank. You have 1 more tier that helps you go back up in the same rank. However, when levelling up from a Tier 5 to the next Rank, you’ll directly move to Tier 1. Eg: Tin 5  > Bronze 1.
