Blue Protocol is arguably one of the most-anticipated MMORPG games being published by Bandai Namco. Announced in June 2019, Bandai Namco announced to launch it on PC but has not yet revealed the exact release date.

The announcement of Blue Protocol has got millions of fans quite excited as it features Genshin Impact-like gameplay. Since the announcement was only made for Japan, it is likely that fans living across the world will have to wait for a bit to enjoy the game on PC.

Blue Protocol Release Date

There has been no official announcement regarding the release date of Blue Protocol. The developer of the game had numerous Alpha and Beta but they have not yet released the official release date.

There are reports doing rounds on social media claiming that Blue Protocol will be released in Western countries as well but they will have to wait till the year 2022. According to reports, the trademark has been registered in North America and Europe as well.

Currently, the release date for Blue Protocol has not been unleashed but is most likely to be released by the end of this year or early 2022.

Can We Play Blue Protocol On PS4, PS5, Xbox, Mobile, Android?

No, Blue Protocol will only be released for PC. If you are excited to play it on Consoles and Mobile then you will have to wait for a couple of years to do so. Similar to Genshin Impact, Blue Protocol will launch for PC first then it will be released on Consoles and Mobile devices.

Since Blue Protocol is yet to be officially released, it is quite difficult to say which one is the best video game. When it comes to features, Blue Protocol will win the battle because it focuses on an online Co-op as an MMORPG rather than a single-player experience like Genshin Impact.

The second major difference is how playable characters are handled. Blue Protocol is a classic online RPG and it features a character creator. It lets you create and customize your own character and freely switch between different classes. Those who took part in the Alpha and Beta Tests revealed that there were four different classes in the game.

Here are all playable and protagonists characters of Genshin Impact and Protocol Blue:

  • Aegis Striker, a tank who fights with a sword and shield
  • Twin Striker, a DPS who dual wields axes
  • Blast Archer, who is also the healer class
  • Spell Caster, a long-ranged class with magic attacks
  • Heavy Smasher, a DPS, tank class

BLUE PROTOCOL – EMOTES, GESTURES & DANCES

The biggest advantage of Blue Protocol is it has multiple gestures, poses, and dances that players can perform with their characters. Notably, Genshin Impact does not have it. In Blue Protocol, it would be a lot easier to determine the winner because the winner will raise their hands.

Apart from raising hands, characters in the upcoming game will be able to hold their hands. According to reports, the development teams had spent a lot of time bringing these amazing features. Notably, each character will switch their hands depending on their move.

On May 31st, 2021, Bandai Namco had revealed a sample of the opening anime for Blue Protocol. According to reports, it is Ciel who is handling the theme song, titled Mirai.

Since Genshin Impact and Blue Protocol are two different games, it is too difficult to say which one is the best.
