Free Fire Vs Free Fire Max: Which Is Better?
Here are all of the differences between Free Fire and Free Fire Max. As well as a score for each that will finally determine whether Free Fire or Free Fire Max is better.
Differences in Graphics
The graphics during gameplay is an important factor to consider for several reasons. Draw Distance, render quality and for aesthetic reasons. Graphics are an important factor to consider when you look for any game. While Free Fire may have decent graphics, the winner of this round is definitely Free Fire Max.
Not only is the Draw Distance that much better but it allows you to see the map clearly from whatever place you are in. This makes it easier to spot enemies and move to safe spaces. Which, when you combine it with the enhanced environment visuals and their weapon representations is just the best. You can even customise your player avatar that much more with FFM and use their eyes to look at the Ultra HD textures around.
Differences in Game Size
To handle these high-quality graphics, you will also need a lot more space to handle Free Fire Max. This is because of the high CPU, GPU and RAM usage. Free Fire Max is definitely going to slow down your system if you don’t have enough space as it takes about 1.5GB. Whereas Free Fire only takes 500MB which is why it is so compatible with so many devices.
While logically, this makes sense given the quality that both games provide. Given the space requirements that we all face problems with, Free Fire wins this round. Sorry to all the Free Fire Max fans out there, Free Fire is just more accessible for more players.
Differences in Competitive Play
For those of you playing competitively, unless you have a higher-end phone that has enough space, you are going to want to stick with Free Fire. The game has a high FPS count that you will find makes your in-game performance that much better. Free Fire Max just isn’t for those of us that are looking to play competitively. But if you just want to enjoy the game as a casual player, by all means, I definitely think that you will enjoy Free Fire Max.
So, this is a 50/50 kind of situation. For competitive players, I’d say that Free Fire is the definite winner but for those that prefer casual gameplay, Free Fire Max is the way to go.
Differences in Popularity
This isn’t a popularity competition. But if you want to have some good matches, it’s clear that you will want the game that more people play. Undoubtedly, with how long it’s been in the market, Free Fire is the clear winner of this competition. With its own E-sports competitions and prizes, Free Fire can be the more exciting game of the two.
In the end, while it was a close competition, we prefer the OG game more. Despite the serious degradation in graphic quality, the game is still easier to play and is overall a more fun experience. Of course, this is not going to be the same for every player and the reasons why you prefer one over the other will probably differ from our own. But one thing that we all can agree on is that we enjoy Garena’s Free Fire and Free Fire Max too much to stop playing either.
