Ever since Krafton launched BGMI early access on Google Play Store, they allowed players to transfer their data from PUBG Mobile to Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI).
Millions of users have successfully migrated their data from PUBG Mobile to BGMI but there are many who have not done it so far. If you too have not transferred your data from PUBG Mobile to BGMI, please do it today or as quickly as possible because the data transfer service is getting a temporary shutdown.
What Is BGMI Account Transfer Last Date?
Instead of transferring BGMI account from PUBG Mobile to BGMI, there are tons of BGMI players who have recently been searching for its last date. For the unversed, the last date for transferring the BGMI account is July 9th, 2021.
The developer of the game had recently informed its users that they will put a temporary shutdown to the data transfer service from July 6th, 2021. Krafton has pushed the date to July 9th, 2021. This means BGMI players can transfer or move their accounts before July 9th this year.
Here’s what Krafton has to say about the data transfer service:
“Dear BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA fans; Starting date of the temporary shutdown of data transfer previously announced has been changed from July 6th, 2021 -> July 9th, 2021. We apologise for the inconvenience upon the temporary shutdown of the data transfer. Thank you.”
If you have not transferred your data from PUBG Mobile to BGMI yet, do it quickly as Krafton has not mentioned the date when will they resume the data transfer service post the temporary halt.
How To Transfer Data from PUBG Mobile To BGMI
Transferring data from the Global version to the Indian version of PUBG Mobile is pretty simple. All you need to do is open BGMI and log in using the Facebook and Twitter accounts that you had used in PUBG Mobile.
Once logged in, you will be asked to select and customize a character. Once customized, you will be asked if you live in India. If you reside in India, tap on the YES option.
Post this option, a pop-up window will appear on the screen asking you to transfer your data. If you want to transfer, tap on ‘Yes, please continue.’
Now, it is time to log in again and this time you will be redirected to the login app of the respective app for your credentials. Now, you will need to tap on Yes to get your data transferred.
That’s it, you have successfully migrated your data from PUBG Mobile to BGMI.
