Dealing with the zombies and bosses becomes more difficult with every chapter you clear. Even if you master the base equipment, they wouldn’t be very useful against these monsters for long. You can enhance your attacks and defense stats with the help of tech parts, but even they have limitations. What you must do in this case is upgrade weapons in Survivor.io to not only make them stronger but also for new skills.
There are six types of equipment in the game, including the weapons. We use the merge method to increase rarity and Astral Forge for additional upgrades. Here, we have talked about both of these and given an easy merge chart for each rarity stage.
How to Merge and Upgrade Weapons in Survivor.io
- Tap on the gun icon from the main screen and go to the equipment page.
- Use the Merge button you see on the right side. Place the equipment of the same rarity in the slots and tap on the Merge.
- Keep doing that to get to the highest rarity weapon.
- Once you have created the Legendary Red Gear, go back to the equipment screen and then tap on red one.
- Use the Grade Skills toggle to get the Astral Forge option.
- Salvage the items and improve your weapon for new effects.
Gear Merge Chart
The process of merging can be pretty tricky, so use this chart to know what you need for each rarity:
- Normal Gear (Gray)
- Merge 3 same Normal Gears = Good Gear (Green)
- Merge 3 same Good Gears = Better Gear (Blue)
- Merge 3 same Better Gears = Excellent Gear (Purple)
- Main Excellent Gear + Any same type of Excellent Gear = Excellent +1 Gear (Purple)
- Main Excellent +1 Gear + Any same type of Excellent +1 Gear = Excellent +2 Gear (Purple)
- Merge 2 same Excellent +2 Gears = Epic Gear (Gold)
- Main Epic Gear + Any same type of Epic Gear = Epic +1 Gear (Gold)
- Main Epic +1 Gear + Any same type of Epic +1 Gear = Epic +2 Gear (Gold)
- Main Epic +2 Gear + Any same type of Epic +2 Gear = Epic +3 Gear (Gold)
- Merge 3 same Epic +3 Gears = Legendary Gear (Red)
