How To Generate Spotify Codes?
Before we explain the process of generating Spotify codes, let me tell you that this feature is available for both — Free and Premium subscribers.
To access or generate a code for a song in Spotify, you simply need to tap on the three dots located on the top right corner of the screen.
When you do so, a new window will appear on the screen. The new screen will also have a code as shown in the above picture. This is the code that you will have to scan to play music on Spotify.
How To Scan Spotify Codes?
Once you have generated a code for a specific music that you want to share with your friends and family members, share the screenshot of the code to them. Once you have taken the screenshot of the code, open up Spotify on your phone.
Once the application is loaded, tap on the Search option. Now, tap on the ‘Artists, songs or podcasts’ as shown in the above picture.
Doing this will open up a window, there you will see Camera icon on the top right corner of the screen. When you tap on it, a scanner will open on Spotify. If the person who shared Spotify code is with you, you can directly scan the code from his or her Spotify app.
If you have code saved on your storage device then you will have to tap on ‘Select from photos’ option and select the code. Doing this will play the music that you have scanned via Spotify scanner.
