The Common crate is available for 3 Relics. Although you can watch an ad to open it, the ad refreshes once in 60 mins. So, you have to wait for an hour once you’ve opened it for free.
Coming to the epic crate, it will cost you 6 relics to open it once and that is the only way to open it. Lastly, the legendary crate is available for 15 relics. Unlike the Common crate, the epic and legendary crates can’t be opened by watching ads.
