New Face Color, Regional Pokemon for Pokemon GO Global Festival of Colors

In celebration of the event, Trainers in India will be able to work together in a Regional Challenge on 18th March

Trainers in India will be introduced to a splash of colours during the global Festival of Colors 2022. Taking place from 15th March 2022 to 20th March 2022, Oricorio, the dancing Pokemon will be making its debut in its regional form besides the appearance of colourful Pokemon. Trainers will be able to use face sticker avatar items styled as three different face colours for free from the in-game shop during and after the event.

In celebration of the event, Trainers in India will be able to work together in a Regional Challenge on 18th March. Once they catch over two million Pokemon, they will be able to enjoy a 2× Catch Candy bonus for the remainder of the event.

Trainers in India will also be able to purchase a celebratory box containing a Lucky Egg, a Lure Module, a Rainy Lure Module and a Mossy Lure Module for 125 PokeCoins to take advantage of the Lure bonuses active during the Festival of Colors.

The Pokemon Oricorio is one that has different Styles. Different Styles of Oricorio such as Baile Style, Pom-Pom Style, Pa’u Style will be appearing in different parts of the world. Trainers in India should keep an eye out for which Oricorio Style they encounter.

Shiny Smeargle also makes an appearance during the event. The event is one of the few occasions where Trainers in Pokemon GO have a chance to encounter a Shiny Smeargle.

In the lead up to the Festival of Colors, Trainers in Delhi will be able to attend a special event being organised at Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden, from 11 am to 5 pm on 13th March. During this Community Day event, Trainers all over India can encounter Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew–the mouse Pokemon. It will be appearing more frequently in the wild and when evolved during the event will know an exclusive attack.

Last year, the Festival of Colors was the first regional in-game event for India, where Trainers in India experienced a fluttering of festive hues. Pokemon associated with different colours of the Festival of Colors was attracted to Incense more frequently than normal. As part of the Festival of Colors celebration, two Holi costumes were released for all Trainers.
