Sea of Thieves consists of seven Ancient Vaults that are opened by seven Totems. Each vault has a specific Totem that unlocks it. Mermaid Hideaway Vault Location In Sea Of Thieves
Players can find the Mermaid Hideaway Ancient Vault around the North West side of the island. There is large archway that is one of the distinctive features marking the spot. In addition, players will also notice a number of snakes drawn on the rocks surrounding the spot. Players can find the lock to open the vault across from it. Here players just need to place the Snake Totem on the correct place, the vault will open. The vault inscription reads “The snake slithers in sand under the island’s grand archway.”
Rewards For Mermaid Hideaway Vault
The Treasure Vault will remain open for about 3 minutes and players can take all the treasure they can from the vault during this time. However, if players are still inside after the time limit is over, they will be stuck in the vault and drown as the vault will fill up with water. Players can usually find Gold, Treasure Chests, and Artefacts in the Vault. Players can also solve a puzzle to get additional rewards from the vault. Although, players will have to keep in mind that they will need to solve the puzzle within the 3 minutes.
