How to Get Red Gems in My Little Universe
You will find the red gems in the desert region in Gaia (World 1). Apart from that, these gems are available on all worlds. Speaking of Gaia, there are more than one ways to obtain them. These red gems are called Ruby in the game.

Killing Pirate Skeletons
In total, there are 6 pirate skeletons in the desert region that guard the whole area. The moment you step on their land, they attack you. If your sword is upgraded, you will slash them in a couple strikes. If not, you may need 3-4 strikes to finish them off. Each skeleton will give you a small amount of rubies. Also, they keep spawning in short intervals, so you can kill them repeatedly.
Mine Ruby from Ores
You will find Ruby ores around the edges of the desert region. The ores are deep pink in color. However, make sure that you have upgraded your pickaxe before mining the gems. Once you are finished mining all the ores, they respawn in a short while. So, you can keep mining them repeatedly.
Watch Ads
Lastly, the simplest way to get Ruby is to watch ads in the desert region. You get rubies as rewards for watching ads. Even the ads keep refreshing in short spans.
Track Ruby
You can also track Rubies in the game provided you have them in your pack. The pack is located in the bottom-left corner of the screen. It is a bag icon.
