League of Legends: Wild Rift is the mobile version of the fantastic PC game. A lot of players were stoked to have the game come to mobile as they could now play with their friends on the go. And if you played the game before the game actually was released in your region, chances are that you were put in a different region. But now that it is a fully established game around the world, here is your guide on how to change your region in Wild Rift.
How to Change the Region in League of Legends Wild Rift?
To change your account’s region in any of Riot’s games, simply follow these steps given below:
- Turn on your location on your smartphone
- Now open your browser and click on the LoL: Wild Rift Support page
- Check to see if the following are coming in the way:
- Did you recently shift regions?
- Are you using a VPN?
- Are you not reading the login prompts?
- If you have answered yes to these questions then change the same
- Make sure that your login has migrated with you
- Switch off VPNs
- And read the login prompts!
- All of your problems should be solved now
- If this still doesn’t work, then submit a ticket
- Riot will fix your issue and get back to you soon
And there you have it, your Wild Rift account region should be changed by now. But with your account migrating to a new region, it will have lost all of its progress on the way there. However, you will still have your purchased Wild Cores. That counts for something, right?
The unfortunate loss of your progress is definitely regretted. But now you have the chance to level up faster and with better scores as you go up the ranks. Blow your opponents out of the way on your way to victory. Some of you may not want to change your account’s region as you do not want to lose your progress. But is it worth the problems that come from playing with those that are actually oceans away? Check out this article on the Wild Rift tier list as you make up your mind.
