Where To Find The Aether Compass In Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker?
With the Endwalker expansion finally arriving, gamers are on the hunt for the Aether Compass that seems to have gone missing. However, you do not need to worry. The Aether Compass is not lost, just relocated. It has been moved from the ‘Key items’ tab to the ‘Collection’ tab under the Duty menu. Even if you end up displacing or discarding the Aether Compass, FFXIV will automatically place it in the Collection menu.
As previously mentioned, the Aether Compass allows players to unlock flying in specific areas. However, players first need to locate the Aether Currents with the help of the Aether Compass.
To see how many are left to collect, players can go to the “Travel” menu and select “Aether Currents”. Alternatively, players can also type “/aethercurrent” in their log. This displays all Aether Currents that are collected. Players will do well to remember that some of the Aether Currents can only be obtained through side quests. The specific side quests are marked with a blue background and plus symbol. A few of the quests only appear after certain main and side quests are completed.
