Spotify: How To Merge Or Combine Playlists

The concept of merging playlists on Spotify has been here for a long time, yet some users are unaware of it. The merge features help you save time, instead of manually adding each song to another playlist. We often create a playlist for our different moods. How to Merge Playlists on Spotify

1. Open your Spotify app.
2. Go to “Your Library“.
3. Open the playlist you want to merge.
4. Tap on the three dots at the top left side.
5. Find the “Add to other playlists” option.
6. Then tap on the playlist you want to merge it with.

There is no need to manually add each song to a playlist when you can simply merge two or more playlists on Spotify. These playlists can include podcasts or music. You can keep adding more playlists to the one you choose.

Note – Doing this won’t delete the original individual playlists when you merge them with another playlist.

There is also a way to blend playlists with your friends. Here is how you can achieve it.

How to Use Spotify Blend

1. On your Spotify app, go to search.
2. Search for “Blend“.
3. It will appear with a green icon.
4. Tap on Create a Blend and you can invite up to 10 friends who use Spotify.
5. They can also invite their friends to join.
6. Once your friends accept your invite, you’ll enjoy a shared playlist with a blend of similar tastes in music and podcasts.
