How to Get Solgaleo in Pokemon Go?
The only way you can get Solgaleo in Pokemon Go is by evolution. Now, Solgaleo is one of the final stages of the evolution of Cosmog. So, you will have to first keep an eye out for Cosmog. If you have one already, it will be easier for you, but if don’t you can take advantage of the ongoing event and capture it.
In order to evolve Cosmog further into Cosmoem, you need 25 candies. Once you’ve collected them, you can transform it into Cosmoem. Now that you’ve reached the second stage of evolution, there is only one remaining. Along with Solgaleo, Niantic has roped in Lunala, the other final stage evolution of Cosmog in the game too.
So, while proceeding to evolve Cosmoem, you will see two Evolve buttons displaying on the screen. Firstly, you’d have to collect 100 candies to transform Cosmoem. Now, there are two ways to acquire these candies. Either you can complete A Cosmic Companion event in the Special Research Quest or you can collect them by adding Cosmoem as your Buddy Pokemon and roam with it.
Completing the tasks of the events can get you more candies in a lesser amount of time, but you can choose to do it another way around as well. Once you’ve managed to collect 100 candies, remember that you have to evolve Cosmoem during the daytime in the game to acquire Solgaleo. If you do it during the in-game nighttime, you’ll receive Lunala.
