    Valorant is a free-to-play first-person hero shooter game that has a massive global base. However, the game is not immune to bugs and errors. Players frequently encounter the Valorant Error Code 57 while trying to play the game. Today’s article discusses how players can fix this error and get back to an uninterrupted gaming session.

    This error code can be caused by Valorant’s anti-cheat not being able to initialize. It can occur due to low RAM on the device. If players have 4GB RAM or below, they are likely to experience this error. Let us take a look at all the fixes players can employ to fix Valorant  Error Code 57.

    Close Idle Programs And Restart Valorant

    Backgrounds app can use a lot of RAM so players must shut them down before starting Valorant. This will provide the device with RAM needed to run the Valorant anti-cheat program in the background. To do this, players can simply open the task manager (Alt+Ctrl+Del) and close all the background apps that are not essential.

    One of the easiest fixes to solve the error is to restart Valorant. This fix has reportedly solved the error for many players as the game client also reboots with the game.

    Another simple fix for the Valorant Error Code 57 is to shut down and reboot the computer. This will not only close all but the necessary background programs, it will also help Valorant initialize anti-cheat.

    Flush DNS Command

    Sometimes temporary files can also cause this error code. This is why players can try flushing their DNS o see if it fixes the issue. Players can simply follow the steps below to flush DNS.

    • Tap the Windows key.
    • Search for Command Prompt.
    • Choose Run As Administrator.
    • Allow Command Prompt to make changes to the computer.
    • Type “ipconfig /flushdns” and press Enter.
    • Next, type “ipconfig /registerdns” and tap Enter.
    • After this, players must type “ipconfig /release” and hit Enter.
    • Once that is done, players need to type “ipconfig /renew” and press Enter.
    • Lastly, players should type “netsh winsock reset” and hit Enter.
    • Once this process is done, players must restart their computer.
