S Tier Hashira In Demon Slayer

Giyu Tomioka

Giyu is the water pillar of the Demon slayer corps and he has shown why he deserves the position. He learned the water breathing technique from Sakonji Urokodaki himself. This is why he is the best choice for the water pillar. One thing that Giyu struggles at is expressing himself and communicating with others. At his heart, Giyu is a good person and an even better Hashira. The path Giyu is one will one day make him the Best Demon Slayer in history.

Gyomei Himejima

Even though he is blind Gyomei’s stone breathing technique is feared by all the demons. Gyomei realized his strength and his Demon slayer mark when his orphanage was attacked and many kids were killed by the Demon. The incident is what put Gyomei on the path which has now lead him to the title of the strongest Demon Slayer. Gyomei has immense physical strength and when you couple that with the Demon slayer mark and his very accurate technique you get to know why all the Demons are afraid of him.

Sakonji Urokodaki

Sakonji is one of the veterans and the first Demon slayer to be revealed in the series. He has not only mastered the water breathing technique but he is also responsible for passing it down.  He did by teaching it to Tomioka. Sakonji has spent a long time at the Demon slayer corps and he passes down all that experience by training the new Demon slayers. His exceptional smell combined with his water breathing technique makes him someone to watch out for even after his peaked has passed.

Sanemi Shinazungawa

Sanemi is the hot-head among all the Hashira’s in the Demon Slayer corps. Since the demons killed his family Sanemi has been carrying that rage which is what makes him one of the most driven Demon Slayer. The rare type of blood Sanemi has can lure any Demon and he makes good use of it to pull the Demons closer before slashing them. Sanemi has mastered the wind breathing technique and is the Wind pillar of the Demon corps.

A Tier Hashira In Demon Slayer

Tengen Uzui

Tengen isn’t officially a part of the Demon slayer corps as he is retired but he still helps the corps and new demon slayer and guides on how to become a Hasihra. He was a sound pillar of the Demon slayer corps but when he got severely injured while battling an upper-rank demon he decided to retire. Tengen is now retired and married to 2 different woman’s but that doesn’t stop him from helping the new Demon slayers and teaching them the sound breathing technique.

Kyojuro Rengoku

Kyojuro was a very helpful Hashira whose only goal was to use his strength and his fire breathing technique to help the weak. Sadly he was killed while battling a Demon slayer, but he will always be known as one of the best young Hashira. Kyojuro also became the Flame pillar in a very short period and with his strength combined with his Firebreathing technique he was a very formidable opponent.

Muchiro Tokito

Muchiro is the silent one who will speak very rarely but when he does he has a solution. He believes that any step has to be taken logically and any emotional input might flip things to the wrong side. Muchiro has great tactical skills. This is why he was able to defeat the upper moon using his Demon slayer Mark. This also shows why he was the Mist pillar of the Demon slayer corps.

Obanai Iguro

Obanai might seem very strict at the surface but there have been instances where you can see his soft side as well. He is the Snake pillar of the Demon slayer corps. Obanai also is constantly pushing the rules and duties of being a Hashira on the fellow demon slayers. Getting your hands on Obanai is very difficult because of his snake breathing and his agility.

B Tier Hashira In Demon Slayer

Shinobu Kocho

Shinobu has been the Insect pillar and is famous for her knowledge of potions and chemicals. She is very different from other Hashira as she was not supposed to be here because of her lack of strength. She built a fighting technique where she would puncture and pierce through her enemies and inject them with chemicals. This unique fighting style makes her a very deadly foe.

Kanae Kocho

Kanae was the elder sister of Shinobu and the Flower pillar in the Demon slayer corps. She was the balancing act among all the Hashira. This showed how charming she was and how she was able to communicate and convince anyone from the Corps. She looked after her 2 sisters and only wished for harmony among Humans and Demons. Kanae has been absent from the recent editions and fans are getting very eager to see her.

Jigoro Kuwajima

Jigoro is the most experienced Hashira among all. That also means that he is the oldest of them all and not as strong as he used to be. Jigoro is an expert in Zenitsu and has been teaching Zenitsu to the young Demon slayers. In his prime, Jigoro had mastered the lightning breathing technique.

Mitsuri Kanroji

Mitsuri is one of the most optimistic characters of all. She is currently the Pillar of Love in the Demon slayer corps. Mitsuri is also very deadly when she uses her breathing technique. Even though she is the pillar of love she wreaks havoc on the Demon without any hesitation.
