Windows 10 Taskbar Not Hiding in Fullscreen?
1. Update & Restart Windows
The first and easiest way is to resolve the taskbar not hiding the error is to check your PC has the latest version of Windows. In order to do so, Press Windows Key+I to open Settings and click on ‘Update & Security.
If your PC does not have the latest version of Windows, you must see it there or you can fetch it manually by clicking on Check For Updates button. If there is an update, installing the latest version of Windows 10 is highly recommended. Once done the same, try the full-screen mode to see if the Windows 10 taskbar hides or not.
2. Try Autohide
Windows 10 offers plenty of ways to personalize your PC and one of them is to hide the taskbar automatically when it is not in use. It means that you will only be able to see the taskbar when you hover over the mouse pointer at the bottom of the screen. In order to do so, open Settings by pressing Windows Key +I and clicking on Personalization.
When you click on ‘Personalization’, you will see multiple options but you will have to click on ‘Taskbar’, which is located in the left windowpane and toggle the Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode option on.

3. Use F11 Keyboard Shortcut

Scroll a little down and navigate Windows Explorer under the Apps column. Right-click on it and select Restart. When you do that, your windows will hide momentarily, and some apps will be closed. That’s fine. Windows Explorer provides a GUI (graphical user interface) to help us navigate and interact with the filesystem of Windows.
You can also do the same without entering the task manager. Yes, you just need to press and hold the CTRL+SHIFT keys and right-clicking on the taskbar. You should now see a new option at the bottom named Exit Explorer.
6. Chrome: Uncheck Hardware Acceleration

7. Reset Chrome
