Item Bag in Pokemon GO works like an inventory. Items like PokeBall, Lucky Egg, Incense, Berries, and more are stored in Bag. The default storage size of your Bag is 350 items. Pokemon GO: How to Upgrade or Increase Item Bag Size
Currently, two types of storage upgrades are purchasable from the game’s Shop; Item Bag and Pokémon Storage. And both of them cost 200 PokéCoins to upgrade and give additional storage of 50 items or Pokemons. Some items don’t count in the max number of items, for example, Gifts or Stickers. So, here we will be focusing on Item Bag. Below are the steps to purchase Upgrade.
- Open your app, and go to the Map view.
- Now select the Main Menu, which looks like a PokéBall.
- You will now see several options. Choose “Shop“, which looks like a shopping bag.
- Scroll down till you find the Upgrades section. There you will see an “Item Bag“, tap on it.
- You will see the description that says “Increases the max number of items you can carry by 50”. And below that description is an “Exchange” button. Tap on it to spend 200 PokeCoins and purchase the Bag upgrade.
- On the upper right corner of your screen, you will see a pop-up, Item Bag +50.
- Now go back to the Main Menu and select “Items“. You will see that your max storage capacity has increased to store 50 more items.
