Defeating Giovanni In Pokemon Go
Persian
Giovanni’s first Pokemon is Persian. This Pokemon is weak against Fighting-type Pokemon. Try countering with Lucario, Conkeldurr, or Machamp to defeat Giovanni. Persian is resistant to Ghost-type Pokemon. Players should ensure they do not face off against this Pokemon with Ghost-type Pokemon like Haunter, Gengar, or Shedinja.
Kingler / Nidoking / Rhyperior
When fighting Nidoking or Rhyperior, players should fight with a Ground-type Pokemon as they are weak against it. Groudon and Garchomp would be great to face off against either of these Pokemon. However, Kingler is strong against Ground-type Pokemon. In case players have to fight against Kingler, they should choose a gross or electric Pokemon.
