Beginner's Guide For Starters In Pokemon GO 2022

There are several things that you have to keep in mind when you first start this game. And some must-knows that will help you in the long run. Let’s get started.

Buddy System

Buddy Pokemon are your companion that will pick candies and give you special bonuses and often Buddy Gifts. When you increase Buddy Levels by completing daily activities you get some perks such as a CP boost, best buddy ribbon, souvenirs, presents, catch assist, and so on.

Friendship Level

The biggest benefit of Best Friend and Ultra Friendship levels is that it will increase the chance of you getting better IV-rate Pokemon during a trade. And apart from that, you get to join Ex-Raids, reduction in trading Stardust requirements, extra Premier Ball, and attack boost

Master Throws

There are essentially four main throws, Curveball, Nice throw, Great throw, and Excellent throw. All of them give different XP and chances of capture. Excellent gives the most experience and has the highest catch rate, and it is best for Rare and Legendary Pokemons.

High Stardust Pokemon

Some Pokemons give better stardust than others. So if you encounter such Pokemons, do not hesitate to catch them. Such Pokemons are Cloyster, Starmie, Shellder, Parasect, Persian, Staryu, Breloom, Sableye, Chimecho, Combee, Vespiquen, Audino, Trubbish, Garbodor, and Amoonguss.

Transfer After Appraise

Before transferring extra Pokemon to Professor Willow, make sure you have appraised it. To do that, go to the Pokemon’s page. Tap on the bottom right corner list-like icon and choose Appraise. It shows you IV points of that Pokemon. IV points matter because it is hard to change them, and they are different for each Pokemon, even of the same species and level.
