Project Zomboid: How To Sneak/Crouch In The Game?

Skills are an important component of any gameplay. However, in a post-apocalyptic, zombie-infested universe, skills can often be the difference between living and becoming zombie fodder. Project Zomboid is one such zombie fest where gamers play to survive for as long as possible. Though it is impossible to win in this game, players can still spend hours trying to avoid dying. Project Zomboid has five main skill categories. These include Agility, Combat, Crafting, Firearm, and Survivalist. These categories have a number of skills that players can build up. One such Project Zomboid skill is Sneak.

Sneak allows players to avoid detection and survive longer. This skill develops over time and can eventually allow players to sneak right past a horde of zombies without being detected. The next question, of course, is how players can use Sneak in Project Zomboid.

How To Sneak/Crouch In Project Zomboid?

Sneak is one of the skills in the Agility category of Project Zomboid. It can make players quite undetectable once it is sufficiently developed. As players develop this skill in the game, their footsteps become lighter and fewer zombies are able to sense their presence. Sometimes, when facing a huge horde of zombies, sneaking/crouching becomes the only option to survive. Trying to take down a large number of zombies at once might get players killed especially if their Firearm and Combat skills are not sufficient.

In order to Sneak in Project Zomboid, players just need to press the C button on their keyboard. However, players can also change this default button by changing the sneak/crouch binding in the options menu.

It should be noted that the Sneak level only rises when players are sneaking past an aggressive element like Zombies. If players Sneak when there is no danger around, they do not get Sneak experience. This is everything players need to know about sneaking in Project Zomboid.
