While streamers like Alinity, Amouranth, and xQc have faced multiple bans for their content in the past, Pokimane has steered clear of any guideline violation. However, earlier this year, Pokimaine got into a spot of trouble with the streaming platform and her account was banned from Twitch.

Why Was Pokimane Banned From Twitch?
While Pokimane is quite careful about the kind of content she posts, the streamer was still hit with a Twitch ban earlier this year. She has been a vocal advocate for a Kids-Safe Version of Twitch stating the platform was becoming too toxic. Her stance makes sense as a majority of her viewers are minors.
Despite all her goodwill and intentions though, the streamer got a DMCA strike on her channel back in January 2022. This was due to the fact that she streamed reactions to the animated series, Avatar: The Last Airbender. She had around 25K viewers on her channel during the stream. Before being hit with a DMCA ban, she was able to stream and react to around 10 episodes of the show.

This is the first time Pokimane has been banned from Twitch. The streamer has remained uncontroversial throughout her long tenure as a Twitch streamer. Moreover, the strike served to her channel was relatively a short one. Pokimane was banned from the platform for 48 hours. The streamer made light of the situation and tweeted “confirmed 48 hour suspension!
see you guys monday morning for a 12 hour comeback stream”.
