Pokimane’s Opinion On The Amouranth’s And Indiefoxx’s Ban

Amouranth and Indiefoxx were recently banned from Twitch for their ASMR meta streams. Let's see what was Pokimane's response on the ban.

Recently Twitch banned Amouranth and Indiefoxx. While there is no official reason given many speculated it was because of their highly se*ualized ASMR meta streams. Pokimane who had her fair share of controversies on Twitch also commented on the whole fiasco and took a dig at the platform.

Pokimane herself has been on the verge of being banned which makes her opinion important for the given scenario. Let’s see what Pokimane’s response is to the whole ASMR meta situation and streamers getting banned.

Pokimane’s Response To Amouranth and Indiefoxx Getting Banned

Pokimane took the unexpected route and talked about an even more important section affected by the ASMR meta situation, the actual ASMRtists. She pointed out how much effort and creativity actual ASMR artists put in then some streamers just come in make weird s**ual sounds and jump to the top.

The whole controversy has given the ASMR community some recognition. Amouranth and Indiefoxx were making ASMR meta streams. They would lick the microphone, make sensual sounds and write fans’ names on their body. All the streams in the meta were already at the borders of Twitch policy. This made the ban less of a shock and more of a matter of time.

Just hours ago both Amouranth and Indiefoxx were unbanned by Twitch after being banned for three days. There was no official announcement as to why they were unbanned. Indiefoxx just said that Twitch wanted them to take the weekend off.

While many supported the ban some also called out the double standards of Twitch when compared to their actions against the h*t-tub streams. Twitch and its policies have been getting flak for a long time now. Clearly, there is a double standard and lack of stability in their policies.
