Fortnite Rule 34 (June 2022): Everything You Need To Know

Fortnite is a wildly popular battle royale game that provides an opportunity for a lot of fun. However, some fans of the game might be taking that motto quite unconventionally. Fortnite Rule 34 is a term that has its roots in an internet rule generated by the community. If you are curious to know everything about Fortnite Rule 34 then look no further as we have got you covered.

This post will only explain what Fortnite Rule 34 is but also give you a couple of reasons to avoid searching for this adult term on the internet and what are Epic Games guidelines on this widely used term.

Without any further ado, let’s get started:

Fortnite Rule 34

Fortnite rule 34 is based on an infamous internet rule that states for everything on the internet, someone has already found a way to make adulterous content about it. This rule applies to video game characters, TV and movie characters to basically everything on the internet. Therefore, Fortnite 34 is basically 18+ content about the game generated by fans throughout the world. This can include fan arts, graphic renderings, etc.

Should Fortnite Rule 34 Content Be Banned?

Rule 34 content is generally frowned upon. In fact, the developers of Fall Guys went ahead and blocked accounts sharing Rule 34 content with them. However, many in the community believe Rule 34 to be a part of their freedom of expression. This is a debatable stance to take. The problem with Rule 34 in video games is that quite a large number of the community are underage kids. Mixing Rule 34 fan art with a game like this runs the risk of exposing its fanbase, largely consisting of kids, to content that is inappropriate for their age group. Thus, banning Rule 34 on social media is an understandable stance to take.

Epic Games Community Guidelines

You should be extremely careful about sharing such content. A lot of developers are now banning accounts that share such content. In their community guidelines, Epic Games states, “Don’t participate in or encourage illegal or dangerous activities within the community, including gambling, illegal drug use, phishing, human trafficking, prostitution, doxing, swatting, or sharing content that glorifies or incites violence.

Threats of harm to yourself or others are taken seriously—don’t make them, especially as a joke. If you see something that puts other players at risk, use in-game reporting (Fortnite, Rocket League) or let our player support team know.” This can include Rule 34 content which often involves glorification of violence in addition to adult content.
