Players that want to unlock exotic animals in Farmville 3 will first need to reach Level 9 to unlock the Exotic Animal collection. There are 10 unlockable exotic animals available in the game at the moment. These include Skunk, Hog Badger, Badger, Bog Turtle, Pearl Turtle, Obsidian Turtle, Raccoon, Jackalope, and Red Fox.

Players can unlock exotic animals by completing Exotic Quest Chapters.
Exotic Tokens
Players can earn exotic tokens from Chest Events, County Fair, or the Boat. These tokens can be purchased using Gems.
Chests
Players can get exotic chests from Merchants after completing Exotic Quests Chapter 2. There are different rarity chests available in the game.
The Bronze Exotic Chest can give players a 1 or 2 star exotic animal. Players can get this chest from the Merchant once a day for free. This chest can be purchased with Bronze Exotic Tokens or Gems.
The Silver Exotic Chest also gives 1 or 2 star exotic animals. Players can buy this chest with Gems or Silver Exotic Tokens. Meanwhile, the Gold Exotic Chest can grant 1 to 3 star exotic animals. Players can purchase it with Gems or Gold Exotic Tokens.
Farmville 3 also has specific chests for particular exotic animals like the Forest Exotic Chest and the Mountain Exotic Chest. These chests can be purchased with Gems.
Lastly, players can get rare exotic animals with the Epic Exotic Chest. It can also be purchased by using Gems.
