Two decades after the release of Diablo II, Blizzard has finally announced the new version of the game, Diablo II Resurrected, for PC and Consoles. The announcement of launching Diablo 2 Resurrected comes at Blizzcon 2021. Notably, the remastered version of Diablo II will have a base game and Lord of Destruction expansion pack as well.
Diablo II Resurrected might not have entered technical alpha testing as of yet but it is available for pre-order in the Blizzard store.
“Our first technical alpha is coming soon, and it will be for PC and single-player focused,” Gallerani explained to Games Rader. “However, a handful of our quality of life features will be in there. Try out the controller and see if it does feel like we’re advertising.”
Ever since Blizzard released the trailer of Diablo II Resurrected at Blizzcon 2021, tons of fans are wondering when will the remastered version of Diablo II will release?
Currently, there is no official release date of Diablo II Resurrected is announced. If anything to go by the newly released trailer, the game will release anytime in 2021.

Those who pre-order Diablo Prime Evil Collection will also get Diablo 2: Resurrected, Diablo 3, Reaper of Souls, the Rise of the Necromancer, Mephisto pet, and Hatred’s Grasp cosmetic wings for Diablo III*.
