Shattered Katana
This is probably the most hyped weapon in Deepwoken and with good reason. It is an endgame Medium Weapon with a base damage of 20 with 30% PEN. Players will require 100 MED to equip this weapon. At 100 MED, it can deal 33.5 damage. Players can obtain this weapon through chests in Starswept Valley or The Depths among other locations.
While still one of the best weapons in the game, the Shattered Katana has been subject to nerfs that have shaken its OP status. Now, weapons like the Vigil Longsword have risen through the ranks to claim a spot as well.
Vigil Longsword
After the addition of the Pluripotent Alloy, the Vigil Longsword has become a much easier and preferred option for players in comparison to the Shattered Katana. It is a medium weapon with a base damage of 20. The Vigil Longsword is well-balanced across all attributes which makes it an effective Medium Weapon. It requires 40 MED and can be obtained through chests in Minityrsa, Songseeker Wilds, Miner’s Landing, and the First Layer.
Forgotten Gladius
This midgame to endgame weapon has a base damage of 18. It has no special effects or passives. Players can obtain this weapon from Primadon and Starswept Valley. It offers high Swing Speed and is a good combination of damage and speed.
