COD Vanguard Free Multiplayer Access Details – Trial Period, Restrictions, and More!
As a Christmas Miracle, the devs have agreed to let players experience Vanguard’s Multiplayer mode. This is an exercise to get players attracted to the massive COD Franchise. And nothing is more enticing than short, free trials.
This free period begins from 16th December and will run all the way until the 21st of December. So, if you are new to the franchise and want to dip your toes in, now is the best time to experience the COD series.
As part of this COD Vanguard Free Multiplayer access, you will get access to the following game features:
- The Free Kills playlist: This is a mix of Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Hardpoint gameplay types. The playlist will also include Armageddon and Shipmas after the Festive Fervor Update at 9 p.m. on December 16.
- Champions Hill playlist: This is Vanguard’s own take on the survival-style tournament mode. In this mode, it is pretty important to build a pretty effective loadout. This will change your entire gameplay experience.
- Shipmas 24/7 playlist: This playlist will have the classic map, Shipment, undergo an entire Christmas makeover. Good times indeed.

Potential Rewards
If you purchase COD Vanguard before 31st December or upgrade from the free multiplayer access, there are a ton of rewards you can win. This is sure to push some users over the edge and convince them to purchase the game.
- 10 Battle Pass Tier Skips for Season One: This will allow you to unlock a free Calling Card and 100 COD Points, or even more rewards if the Season One Battle Pass is purchased.
- A 10% Global Player, Weapon, and Battle Pass XP Boost During Season One. This will allow you to get that next Prestige Icon, weapon attachment, or Battle Pass Tier just a bit quicker with this additional XP Boost. Also, this is a Trios-based tournament playlist.
- The 24 Vanguard Tiers of the Season Six Battle Pass. If you have not already earned them last season, anyone who purchases Vanguard will receive these for free. This means free exclusive rewards that are usually reserved for Battle Pass users only.
Additionally, you can level up all Vanguard weapons at a double pace thanks to Max 2XP. This is across all three game modes that are available. These weapons also include the four new guns that were introduced at the start of the season. Also, during the upcoming weekend, there is also a chance to earn double XP. Any Player XP, Operator XP, Clan XP, and Battle Pass XP, that you earn will now be doubled during the weekend.
This update will also see the Rebirth Island map make a return to the franchise. So, with so much to do in the space of six days, you can free up some space over the weekend. That is discounting the fact that there might be some server issues, but hey, we did warn you.
