How To Wish Upon A Shooting Star?
Players can wish upon a shooting star in Animal Crossing: New Horizon by angling their camera so that their character and the Shooting Stars are both in the frame. Now, players can press A whenever they see a shooting star to make a wish. If a wish is successful, the Shooting Star will glow yellow to confirm it. Moreover, players need to keep in mind that they can only make a wish while they are empty-handed and standing. If there is a tool in the characters hand, players will need to drop it before they can make a wish. Also, players cannot make a wish sitting or laying down. They need to be standing. One player can only make one wish per Shooting Star.

If players successfully made their wishes during the meteor shower, they will get the star fragments the next day on the beach. These can be found randomly across the beach. Players can get up to 20 Star Fragments if they wished for each of them on the Shooting Stars. In addition, players also get 20 additional Star Fragments if they had guests wishing with them during the meteor shower. However, the guest will also receive a Star Fragment for wishing during the meteor shower.
