Indian telecommunications company Jio, after successfully hitting the nth number of sectors, is now keen to make its presence known in the most progressive and underappreciated industry. The gaming industry is scaling new heights not just when it comes to PC or Console video games, it has successfully established a new medium called mobile gaming.  

Mobile gaming is now capturing the attention of gamers all over the world, thanks to the introduction of zillions of mobile games. But lately, the only genre that has been influential in holding players hooked is the Battle Royal Mobile Games.

Jio, as usual, didn’t let this opportunity slip and seeped its way into the field by partnering with chipset manufacturer MediaTek. Jio joined hands with MediaTek to launch “GAMING MASTERS” a 70-day long eSports event for Indian gamers.  

It’s a high-profile tournament of 12.5 lakh featuring the Garena Free Fire game that’s a popular battle royal shooting rifle and is absolutely free for interested players as the platform didn’t demand any registration fees or participation fees. The contest will evaluate Indian gamers on the grounds of skills, teamwork, endurance in a virtual gaming atmosphere. Not only this, but non-participants are also given a chance to enjoy the contest and cheer for their favourite players live on JioTv HD eSports Channel and YouTube.

Registration for the same has concluded on 10th January 2021 and the tournament has already started from 13th January 2021. This 70-day long haul’s grand finale is scheduled for 1sth March 2021.   

Jio Free Fire Gaming Masters Format

Join Free Fire Gaming Masters format is divided into three levels, namely DUOS, SOLOS, and Grand Final. 20 squads from the DUOS playoffs and 4 teams from the SOLOS playoffs will challenge each other in a series of 7 Battle Royale gameplay for the largest chunk of the event cash prize.   

Lastly, the Grand Final winner will be rewarded with Rs 3 Lakhs.
