Battlegrounds Mobile India is constantly coming up with new content to keep its players hooked. However, sometimes these events do not quite work out the way developers intended. This seems to be the case with BGMI Ultimate Showdown and Play Hard Events. Krafton has announced that these events will be disabled in the game due to some faults. As per the announcement, the BGMI Ultimate Showdown Event has been disabled on January 27th. The reason behind the recall is still unspecified.
When Will BGMI Ultimate Showdown Event Be Back?
Krafton has not specified when the issues with the events would be fixed or when the events will be back in BGMI. The event has been taken down soon after its launch on January 25, 2022. Addressing the issue, Krafton has stated that it “Should it be fixed and re-opened, we will inform you through further notice”.
This does not give much information to players about the return of the event in BGMI. However, Krafton had suggested that players should redeem their exclusive items related to the Ultimate Showdown event before the event gets disabled. Players that have not done so yet, will not be able to redeem exclusive items related to the Ultimate Showdown event now. However, players can still go to the exchange event in the Exchange centre and exchange their Ultimate Showdown tokens for other available event tokens. These include the Avalanche X-Suit, the Lucky Spin as well as the Classic Crate Scrapes. Krafton has specified that the exchange ratio will be 1:1. This exchange event will finish up on the same date the BGMI Ultimate Showdown Event was supposed to end: 02/17/2022. Moreover, players can exchange unused Vouchers in the Event Centre.
